Steppin' Out Saturday {22}...

...or more like stepping in. Dave has taken a few weeks off of shows in order to prepare for our move and we've been taking advantage of having a few weekends off by using the nights to relax for the most part. So I "stepped out" to Starbucks to grab us some motivation to keep working and then we snuggled up for some Tom Petty in the comfort of our living room...

If you guys haven't seen the documentary "Runnin' Down a Dream" I highly recommend it! Especially for the music lovers. Dave and I have watched it at least 5 times since we bought it a year or two ago, even though it is two discs long...

Perfection.

And since this is a "stepping out" post my long sleeve tee is from Gap, in case anyone's interested. Oh and promise I put jeans on to get the Starbucks, hehe. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Happy Friday and a winner!

Happy Friday!! But more importantly, Happy Veterans Day! I am so thankful each and every day for the men and women who have served and are serving our country. We owe them so much and yet they ask for so little...it's a true testament of giving. I'm especially proud of my wonderful husband and the years that he served, thank you love :)

What's for dinner {11}...improve style...

I don't know if you guys have picked up on it yet, but we love pasta around here. So what to do when you start to boil what's left of a bag of whole wheat pasta and it doesn't expand as much as you were expecting...as in, there's not much pasta to eat? Why not throw in what you have left of another kind of whole wheat pasta? That's what we did last night. Pasta...improve style.

Add in a piece of homemade whole wheat garlic bread and a glass of red wine...perfecto :)
