I saw this quote on Casey's blog yesterday and it really hit home for me. Sorry my handwriting is so crazy up above, but I had to scribble it down as fast as I could and really take it in.
This is something that hits me hard sometimes. While 99% of the time I am not worried at all about the fact that I don't have a "real" job...I know what I do matters and that I am constantly learning and growing...every once in awhile I'll have an off-day, someone will make a comment or I will just feel like I should get a "real" job and it gets me down. But this comment reminded me that we were made for something more.
There is so much more to life than money and getting ahead...now don't get me wrong I have many friends in the corporate world doing exactly what they should be and I am so proud of them, but there is still so much more to their life than work....
So let's get out there and "enrich the world" shall we?
