Happenings.

This week is a little crazy since Dave is out of classes for the week and we're preparing to go to Dallas this weekend for him to play some shows. There has been a lot going on and if you follow me on twitter and instagram (what are you waiting for?) then you might have already seen some of these, but I just had to share...

Above you will see:

-The beginnings of a tofu/veggie/rice bowl that Dave threw together...it was amazing, as always.
-My mornings, green tea and taking notes.
-Headed out for a girls night!

-Smart tea.
-The inside of the card I made my Mom for Mother's Day :)
-So much rain here in Austin...I have a love/hate relationship with it.

-A great idea that I had to mix a packet of Papa John's seasoning and a bit of light sour cream...perfect veggie dip, yum!
-Loving my new headphones from Velodyne, can't wait to tell you guys all about them.
-Blogger Happy Hour! I had so much fun with Shanna, Jessica, Brittany, and Jenni :)

Happy Hour- Blogger Style

My favorite thing about Austin so far isn't the weather, the pretty places to run, or the laid back vibe. It's meeting all the fabulous women that I had only known through the internet, until now. The women I've been meeting are simply the sweetest and I can already tell we're going to be great friends.

The other night a bunch of us got together and did Happy Hour, it was so much fun! I loved getting to know these women and can't wait for more "blates" (blogger dates) in the future...

Austin Cake Ball...

This past weekend I got to hang out with two of my favorite blog girls Ruthie and Jenni. I met Ruthie the first time Dave and I came down to Austin in November, but this was my first time meeting Jenni in "real life" and I was so excited to meet her after reading her blog for months...

We met at Austin Cake Ball in Domain (a fun little outdoor shopping area). I'd never been and I can't wait to go back and check out all the shops...although I'll just be window shopping for now :)

The best part about it was getting to hang out with the girls. I knew I already loved Ruthie as a friend and I had a feeling I would really enjoy getting to know Jenni too...and I was so right! Not only did we have a lot in common (which I already figured), but she is so sweet with such a warm personality I'm excited to get to know her better.

Salted Caramel Cake Ball...not exactly a salted caramel frapp, but still pretty dang good.
