4th of July Week, Part 2.

As promised, here are the rest of my pictures from the 4th of July trip! These encompass our time out on the water. Since it was extra hot this year (what is up with that?), we didn't get in as much time on the lake as we would have liked, but it was still so much fun when we were able to go out...

Angel kept running side to side and front to back on the boat just to make sure she could see where Dave was at all times on the jet ski...it was so cute. If he got too far away and she couldn't see him she would get all sad and pout, poor thing, she is such a sweet dog.

It was such a wonderful week and I'm sad that it flew by so fast. I am thankful we got to go at all though, because I know a lot of families didn't get to this year. I hope you all have a chance to get away and unwind this summer! If you have a fun trip planned I'd love to hear all about it...

4th of July Week, Part 1.

Our 4th of July week started out at Table Rock lake. We had a wonderful time just being on the water and having lots of down time. There was, of course, lots of food involved. This trip was just what we needed...

We went to Wichita for a day before heading home so we could say hi to my Mom and (Step)Dad. It was such a short trip I didn't get a bunch of pictures, but I'll leave you with this picture of their dog Libbie. The model...

What did you all do for the 4th? This year was a bit weird since the 4th was on a Wednesday, I feel like not as many people celebrated like they usually do. I know the lake wasn't packed like it was last year...which was nice for us. Anyone else have a chance to take a trip?

We had a crazy fun week filled with lake time, a last minute trip to Wichita, a long drive home, and trying to catch up on all that we missed. Here are a few glimpses in pictures...
