This Friday we went to The Artichoke to hear a new friend Dave made when we went to The Brickyard for open jam. He was nice enough to have Dave come up and play a few songs in between his sets. It was a fun Friday, and it was nice to listen to someone else play so my hubby could sit with me :) Plus, The Artichoke has the best sandwiches in town! I of course get the vegetarian...lettuce, tomato, guacamole, cream cheese, and cucumber all on wheat bread. Mmm mmm good!

Saturday we had a heat index of about 110 degrees and were (are) under an "excessive heat warning"...we ran errands all afternoon and then decided it was time to get inside. Since it was way too hot to wear anything other than a sundress, I wore the outfit in this post.
PS~ I've now realized I have worn the same shoes in every. single. steppin' out post...no bueno. So if you'd like to donate to "Mal's shoe collection" let me know! Haha, but seriously, I need some new shoes...
