I am adopted.
...and I wouldn't have it any other way! My birth mother was very young and I am thankful that she was brave enough to have me and give me up. But that is where that stops, I have no desire to ever meet my birth parents. Other than maybe wanting to know some medical history for my records, it's not something that I have ever longed for...
...probably because I have the best parents in the world. I know some of you read this post back in May about my Mom and a little bit about how I feel about her, but let me say it again. She is my best friend. My inspiration. My rock to lean on. I love her more than words can say...
...and pretty much every time we are out together someone stops us and tells us how much we look alike. We just giggle and look at each other. But every time I am so proud, because she is gorgeous...
And then there are my two Dad's. That's right, two. They are both so amazing in their own ways. Most of you never read this post for them.
Without all these people in my life I don't know where I'd be.
I feel so blessed that God hand-picked these wonderful people to be my parents. I am forever grateful.
