One lady who was promoting her cookbook gave us a free sample of her taco seasoning. That gave Dave a great idea that we could make lettuce wraps Mexican style. Later that night we made our wraps and some of our chili cheese dip that I'd been craving since the temps had finally cooled down...you guys have to try it! Comfort food that's not terrible for you...
For the lettuce wraps we used Boca meat, tomatoes, and hot sauce on a cup of lettuce (Dave put a little cheese on his.) The dip is two cans of Amy's vegetarian chili (we like the spicy kind) and 1 package of cream cheese (we use the 1/3 fat kind) and heat it up on the stove. This makes a bunch so you have leftovers :) We also picked up some Blue Moon, the winter Belgian Ale is out now, pour it in a glass with an orange...perfection.
Oh and as you can see I wore my Victoria's Secret fleece pants and a tan long sleeve shirt from The Gap.
Of all the things I miss the most from my pre-breastfeeding days, it would have to be a glass of Blue Moon with an orange. Delicious!!! Your lettuce wraps look great and yay for lazy Saturdays!!
