The great thaw...

Today I couldn't help but take a million pictures of the gorgeous trees and flowers as they thawed from the freak ice storm that hit Wichita this week. Even for Kansas, it was the strangest day when it went from 75 degrees and humid out to sleeting and waking up to an ice covered city. Either way, it was a photographer's dream today as things warmed back up and the trees dripped of ice and sparkled in the sunshine...

    yep . . . that is what it looked like. Your pictures are so much better than mine! It was beautiful, but I hate what it did to my magnolia tree!
