We're finally on the road to Austin!!! It'll be a loooong day of loading up the truck and tahoe early and then driving 9+ hours, but we are so excited it's worth it.
Hopefully it won't take too long to get our internet set up, but either way I'll do my best to update you all! Happy Friday loves!
Exciting! Have fun. Hopefully, if you're close to San Antonio at any point on your trip, you'll have time to stop and get some puffy tacos at Los Barrios. I live in LA and haven't been able to make it there yet but I saw it on Bobby Flay's Throwdown and my sister who is a chef-in-training duplicated the recipe and OMGoodness! Definitely worth a taste if you're nearby. To my understanding, they originated in San Antonio. When we were in Dallas a couple years ago we tried to find some puffy tacos but everyone said they're only in San Antonio.
