As you know, if you read my "Our Story" page, Dave and I got engaged very quickly...it really was one of those "when you know, you know" situations and we knew immediately.
He proposed to me while I was visiting him in southern Texas in the spring. I had just gotten in town and we were laying on the grass by a river and Dave was acting weird. Finally he slipped my sunglasses off and looked me deep in the eyes and asked me to marry him. I think I took him off-guard by not even taking a beat before enthusiastically saying "yes!"
Dave made me a grass ring :)
